Where can I buy that Indian Henna substance for “Henna Tattoos“?
I got a Henna Tattoo yesterday from an art festival and I absolutely love it! I was wondering where I can buy the substance they use to draw. (It’s a greenish brownish color). I know it’s Indian but any specific stores?
The paste is made from powdered henna leaves and an acidic liquid (usually lemon juice, but I’ve seen people use cola too). A good place to buy the powder is mehndi.com (they have pictures of henna tattoos done using each type of powder with a description of how long it was left on so you can see how well it stains).
